Yesterday I put up a joke article saying we should sign ex-Hearts player Ian Black, to give us a multi-coloured midflield. Lo and behold, today there's a real story linking us with Hearts wingerJohnny Russell and Dundee United striker David Templeton. Apparently Neil sees them as replacements for Snoddy and McCormack. Anyone else know anything about this? Or about either player?

Leeds to sign Templeton and Russell?

Templeton maybe for the future, but Russell no thanks.
Can either of these do the job to get us promotion this season?
I doubt it.

I'd rather keep Ross and Snoddy Jonty, but what are the chances? At least they're not from Portsmouth.

As I said in an earlier post
Johnny Russell was linked with Celtic and possibly Rangers from what I remember, wasn't exactly prolific in Scotland, could be another Goodwillie at Blackburn
Tempelton I would take in a heartbeat
but I remember the hearts manager making a tongue and cheek statement that he wouldn't accept anything less than £15m for him

sorry Side - missed your previous post.

Tempelton for one has more speed than Snoddy and could potentially have more ability
Would have have his playing in same team rather than his replacement

looks more of a left winger, looks very good imo, would be an ideal max gradel replace and would be great if we had him and snoddy on either wing but wont happen unfourtunately.
