I would suggest we haven't gone for him because Rodgers has said to Huw Jenkins, you can have Michu and you let us have Allen..
cue loads of abuse about how Michu is better than Allen, from people who have never seen him play....

I am in no position to say he is a great player or not however it is clear to see that in terms of value for money the market in the PL is poor and the Spanish market represents greater value for your money.. Various transfers out of the German league also represent better value for money on players with similar stats.. If a midfielder scored 15 goals in the PL and was English he would cost in the region of 20 - 25 million...

That's not true though Suarez 7.
Kevin Nolan for example has always been a goalscoring midfielder but has never cost the earth in his career.
Spain is a cheaper place to buy players, but that doesn't mean we should only be buying players from Spain.
There are still 6 weeks of the transfer window left, an just because we haven't bought a player from Spain you are crying about it every day.
