Hope I'm wrong but I've seen it all before and it's usually the children that believe the media hype......and yes we did read it we just had a different view!

Yeah looks like weve been making a lot of noise about bidding for players we could never get in a milion years for a while now- oh we bid for David Villa etc

So how do you guys explain the fact that we had a bid for Hazard accepted? How do you explain that the lad had a straight choice between us and Chelsea? I find some of these conspiracy theories ridiculous I really do. Like SAF is some lapdog to the Glazers.

And there was me thinking SAF bids for players because he thinks they will better his squad when all along it was to convince people we have money that we don't really have.
We'll just have to hope other clubs are happy to participate in this charade and don't accept our offers hey?
The signings of Young, Jones, Kagawa etc etc were obviously just blips while we hone the technique of this conspiracy theory.

Basically, he is using RVP as foil for Lucas IMO.

Why would United want to convince people we have money? If we look like we have no cash to spend, clubs won't be as willing to try and squeeze out an extra 4-5 million in a deal, because they don't think we have it.

Bidding for players to show we have money is by far and away one of the stupidest theories i've read on here, sorry.

There is a huge difference between using a player like RVP as a smoke screen and not having any money to spend. I still don't believe that us the case anyway, but it is possible. Either way, it doesn't mean we have no money to spend.

I notice none of the conspiracy theorists have answered my question regarding Hazard. How could we afford his asking price with money to spend?
