Sky Go

Morning reds

Just a small rant about Sky Go. I am going to try and relate this to football to keep you all happy.

Basically I own a Samsung Galaxy S3 and today found out that Sky Go was available to download (just incase you dont know what Sky Go is, it is an app available on your Xbox, some Android devices, iPhones and iPads and it just lets you watch your sky channels on these devices) I have just downloaded it (so I could watch FOOTBALL on my phone) and when I signed in it popped up with a message telling me I have too many registered devices.

I looked at the devices registed and it turns out you are only allowed 2 and those devices includes your computer, so I had my Xbox and computer as registered devices. So to register my phone I unregistered my Xbox.

Some of you may find 2 devices enough but if you live with a few people who all have portable devices then you are stuck

To top it off off once I registered my phone and logged in it then told me that Sky Go is not supported on rooted Android devices So in the end I couldn't even use it

Steer clear guys

I have it on iPhone and it's a brilliant app. If you live with so many people get multiroom

I think it's a great app and idea, we don't subscribe to Sky in our house but my mum and dad do so. They are not into phones and tablets etc so I use there 2 device allowance on my laptop and iPod using there account number. All Sky channels for free, luvvly jubbly.

Ditch the Samsung and get an iPhone. Simple.

Sky Go works brilliantly on mine

I also use my parents subscription but was unaware of the device limit.

I have it working on my PC, my phone, 2 tablets and a laptop? Also my niece and nephew both use the logins on their laptops and we have had no problems...

Try an app called Voodoo OTA Rootkeeper, it basically just makes your phone thinks its unrooted for as long as you want. I can watch Netflix, Flixster & Sky Go on my rooted GS3 using it
