Which was better?
Personally, I've played all the way through AA, and in my opinion one of the most enjoyable games I've played on the PS3.
With AC, I must've re-started it about 3 times now, and keep ditching it for FIFA 12. I never did this with AA. For me, AC just has too many storylines in one go for the player to get fully engrossed in the game. At one point, you've got Batman kidnapped by the Joker, right after that you have to take over Catwoman and do a mission playing as her! This really peed me off!
I'm not saying AC is a bad game, not at all. It's actually very, very good. But it's just taken things from AA and made them slightly more annoying. Like the Riddler trophies for example. Why the hell are they concealed by some crappy barrier thing? And why can't I start collecting them at the very beginning of the game?
Like I said, I haven't played AC all the way through yet, so it may resolve my problems later on in the game.
What are your opinions?
Arkham Asylum vs. Arkham City

Other ones involve pressing a switch
And a lot of the time they're hidden underneath some thing. Something to do with pressure needing to be added
Is every question mark you see while grappling between stuff in the open city the location of a trophy? Because you see a lot everywhere you go

I probably just don't understand half the stuff tbh yet.

I like how you can mark riddled trophies on the map

Yeah that's useful. The catwoman missions are stupid though. I only bought an original copy for that, should've just got it preowned.

Ok after over a week and a bit of playing Arkham City, I have fully adapted to everything that's different
And in all honestly, I think it's brilliant. I loved AA but this just takes the game to a new dimension. Loads more to do and more variation

Trying to get some of the riddlers trophies are just plain annoying at times!

That is definitely a big difference. On AA they would be hidden in sneaky areas
AC still has those ones, but also a whole load of others which are tricky to obtain, yet obvious to find
A lot of variety makes it more interesting
