Latest (prob) B.S rumour...

Apparently we are looking at both Lewandowski and Llorente as striker options for next season...

Apparently we don't want to spend and more than £30m at the most...

Tricky name to spell / say RBM, and i've seen him play quite a bit for Dortmund, don't think much of him, just a poor mans version of crouch. Reminds me of Gomez as well in some aspects, over-rated

-----

Of all people to compare him to. Why crouch?

Guys a great finisher- and given the supply our strikers will get next season, that's all we'll need!

The new Torres is better than the old Torres in a lot of different ways though, with the new Torres we don't just have to rely on Torres scoring to win games like liverpool did as Torres has now became a creator as well as a scorer, and the amount of quality passes / assists / chances he created last season was mad !!

Now he has finally got some players around him to give it back to him instead of just one player ( mata ) and a bunch of slow players that just shoot all the time he'll be firing on all cylinders.

Can not wait

he's powerful, a good physical presence and a a good header of the ball, exactly the sort ofplayer we'll be lacking without Drogs
-------------
Exactly, I think he'd provide good balance and vareity with our strikers. And from what I've seen and RW on him he's not just a immobile target man, obviously not speedy player or a dribbler but not a total lump like Carroll as well.

he was supposed to get going last season though. even with meireles (forged a decent partnership at Pool) and Mata suppklying him and Drogs out of sorts and at the ACON, Torres remained inconsistent at best

fair dos he wasn't as bad as say chamakh or heskey but that's no excuse-considering he set us back 50 million we should be expecting FAR better

but where are the signs he'll come good? don't quote me the Euros.a good cameo appearance against a beaten Italy and a dismal Ireland side loaded with Championship players

we need a better option than Torres (imo we really need to cut out losses and run )

Either Cavani, Lewandoski or Llorente would be good
