After the disappointment of last season in the league despite a League Cup win, optimism is a little higher with some fans going into the new campaign with BR.
My query is Liverpool lacked badly in not only quality lqst season but depth too, with the added bonus of the Europa League this season, and BR wanting to win this competition and take it seriously.
How will the squad cope with such a rigerous fixture list and a possibke extra 21 games if you reach the final? Kenny struggled to field a side with the extra 6 league cup and 6 fa cup games.
With just one addition and few youths looking likely to play a role this season, do Liverpool need a further 5/6 signings to improve on last season in the league whilst showing competitiveness in tue 3 cup competitions this season.
Next season ambition?

Next year is definitely our year.
The year after will also be our year - we'll add 6th C L, Barcelona and Real will come poaching BR, the new stadium will be opened and Gerrard and Carragher will both be knighted!

I seem to remember a conversation about SFX and you being asked to prove you went. You gave the years you went there which, me being a mathematical genius, worked out you were 26/27. Thought I'd got you mixed up now you're being called middle aged.
