Song got something like 16 assists last season, similar figure to Mata and Silva. Walcott and Gervinho combined got a decent number of assists too.

If we do get him, IMO it would be one of the biggest 'statement signings' in Wenger's reign. Would really show people we still have ambition and aren't afraid to buy TOP quality players.

It'd be very nice if we got him. He's very versatile and would be able to play anywhere in the midfield and on the wings for us. He's also got a lot of class and was a massive factor in Malaga's successful season. Like I said though, I don't want to get too carried away

He stands out every time I watch him play, even when he plays amongst all the world class players in the Spanish side.

They aren't that reliable, they just spruce up intense rumours as more often than not those rumours end up happening. Last season they said we had signed both Mata and M'Vila as there was intense speculation we were after both players. I doubt they know any more than the journous from the Sun, Mail, etc.

There's been 3 or 4 papers over the last few days saying spurs are looking to buy him. Something to due with they're working around a clause in his contract.
