Director of Football

It has all gone very quiet on this front since SO'D took charge.
I don't know why but I've got a sneaking suspicion we may get one in just after the (Coe)lympics. I know that the person in question has not been mentioned that much but knowing the person involved he will be totally committed to Team GB and would not want to get involved in media speculation.
Psycho and SO'D would be a great patnership, tactician and coach along with a great motivator.

Is he really DOF material though? I have my doubts. Isn't the idea with DOF's usually that it's someone with vast experience in the football world, a sort of overseer, rather than someone who is kind of just starting out as a coach themselves?

It's been a couple of days. It could take weeks or months to get the right man in, if that's what they decide upon.

No, Stuart Pearce will NOT be DoF. Not now, not ever.

They've already interviewed Coppell for this haven't they? He's not under contract at Crawley - but he might be staying on there to appoint a new manager before he ups sticks? Maybe?

Psycho's more hands-on than a DoF role allows isn't he?

I've heard Coppell's name mentioned too.
I'd be happy with that.

Psycho is a shocking manager and would be a worse DoF. It was reported that it will be Coppell or Hoddle.
