Self-explanatory title. Okay, so Burnely is an awful place. Okay, so Turf Moor is a dreadful ground with ancient, wooden seats. Okay, so tickets are over-priced at £30.
Still, it's a great game to start the season with. Local derby and the whole Coyle Judas thing. Let's just hope my optimism ahead of the new season isn't crushed on the first day, against a side that I imagine (as do the bookies) will struggle this season.
As an aside, it would also be nice to start winning some friendlies now, to build up confidence ahead of August 18th.
First day: who's going?

Let's hope that the winning streak kicks in tonight.
As for going to Burnley, sadly it's long trip there and back so I won't be going.
I am however going to England for three weeks over the Christmas period, so I'm looking forward to seeing at least two games.

Are there any tickets left?
I wasn't going to go because I thought I was working, turns out that I'm not!
Might have to stream it or watch it in a pub somewhere.

I have a feeling that finding streams will be impossible this year.

BringBackSturridge is right, you have no chance of streams this season. 5% of our games will be on TV otherwise its a case of attending the match or listening to the radio.

Yeah, there are tickets left. I got one this morning and I'm not a ST holder.

Championship games start a week before prem though. That's why I reckon there will be a chance of this game on. Maybe not any others after that, but the chances of the first game must be higher.

RR. Usually yes, but this season the PL kicks off on the same weekend. I think it's because everything has been pushed back by the Olympic football.
Still think there's a chance though of streaming the game. Pretty sure I saw some links to Championship matches when I was streaming some of our games last season.

I'll be there. No idea how I am getting there, but I've got a ticket.
