A little disappointed this guy wasn't included in the first team pre-season games.
He's not the immediate answer to our defensive frailties but thought with us adding the likes of Twardzik, McGeough, Watt & the fact we have limited amount of centrebacks he would have been added to the squad.
With Wilson potentially out with shin splits (which is usually a long term condition) it leaves us very short at the back - a couple more knocks in training or in the Inter Milan game could leave us very short!

Was good against Rennes
As I said, he's not ready to be thrust into the starting 11 but the players we have to play centreback are:
Rogne
Mulgrew
Lustig
Wanyama
I would say Rogne is the only recognised centreback we have there.
An injury to Izzy, Kayal or Matthews would automatically mean one of those 3 would have to cover them unless you have Blackman or ledley at leftback to cover Izzy - I'd much prefer Mulgrew there!!
Wanyama has only played as part of a 3 & Lustig looked poor defensively as a rightback so though he played decent last night don;t have confidence in his defending in the middle!!
That report about Ramis states £4m!?!? Thats us out!!

Tell him I said to knock Lennons door and demand to be in the first team squad as we lack numbers in the central defence.
He should take with him a copy of his performance against Rennes and a copy of any of Kelvin Wilsons performances & make Lennon watch them both
