After another offer for Antonio was again rejected, please Milan, DONT let this guy slip through the net, we had this before with Marshall. Im not saying offer silly money for him, besides its not like Reading are wanting millions for him and after his exploits last season I think we would get an absolute bargain, as Ive said they are not asking for millions off him and you certainatly wont be "Skinting" the club as we all know what he can do so he wont be a gamble so come on Milan, offer what they want, which Im sure isnt much more than our last offer and not let another player slip through the net as there are others intrested and it wouldnt suprise me if one of them was Leeds as they seem to be signing players left right and centre at the moment and knowing Colin he would probably sign him out of spite given his obvious hatred towards us and it would be tragic to lose him to them!!

If Reading wont accept our offer there is now way that Leeds will get him. Do you have any idea of stingy Bates is!
Yes, Leeds have signed a few names but they are all out of the Portsmouth bargin bucket. They are not spending any more.
Any fee's from Snodgrass will go right in Bate's pocket.
We should be more worried about Huddersfield as they are the team who look like they actually want to make a mark next season.

Reading are provoking a bidding war. Now they say Antonio's in "their Premiership plans" Strange that, when he wasn't good enough for them in the Championship!
Time to call their bluff, one final bid and if rejected, pull out and move on. There are other quality players around.

I look at it this way ...
..Reading played him against a Championship side last night..
.. along side of another player that we would not pay more than he was worth..
..did they score..
..did Antonio run the game against a Championship team..
..two-nil

I agree, Reading are just taking the mick over it now. He certainly won't figure in the Prem next term and will only get the odd cup game.
As I have mentioned before, they are just trying to squeeze as much as they can out of it.
1 more bid - if rejected, move on.
Personally I'd like to see him join but if not, it isn't the end of the world. I don't think we will get him now - I can see him going elsewhere for an inflated price, somewhere like Forest or Huddersfield who have more money than us.

Maybe it wasn't such a good idea spending 500k on Derby's fourth choice centre forward...

And signing Mido was??? The most overated Egyptian player on earth, quite how he graced White Heart lane, Stadio Olimpico (When Roma were desperate) and the Amsterdam Arena is anyones guess, how the...ahem..."Mighty" have fallen
