I think (or hope) that the banner was just bad taste rather than intended to be bigotted.

I have no thoughts that the banner was bigotted, just immensely stupid, completely unsuitable and generally ignorant.

Given the possibility of all sort of connotations being made with a "shadowed figure firing a machine gun" at someone, what really was the point in this banner.

Green Brigade just re-affirming what most of us know - that they are self serving ar$eholes, just like their opposite numbers in the RST etc.
