Vote - Which striker?

Assuming we don't sign another striker, who should SOD put his faith in to partner Blackstock?

5* - Miller
4* - Findley
3* - Derbyshire
2* - Tudgay
1* - Mcgoldrick

If other, or suggesting 1 up front, please comment below.

for a minute there I was going to be a moron and accuse you of missing out Blackstock. Clearly our best striker and a thoroughly nice bloke. I am an idiot.

I would say Miller if he can pull his finger out this season. Get rid of McGoldrick and Derbyshire and keep the rest, they will all have to play a part this season.

I go with Miller, but I think Derbyshire should be given a good chance as well, but don't see him and Blackstock combing well. I think, if Miller and Derbyshire can get back to their best, and stay fit, then Miller and blackstock would be first choice pairing, Miller Derbyshire second. Bye bye Tudgay and McGoldrick.

Redlaw & Hooijdonk, the general consensus is that most fans prefer Miller. I believe all except Tudgay should be given a chance (I personally loathe Tudgay - terrible player).

Ahh, now the age old arguement of Mcgoldrick. I have it on good authority that he is a very popular player within the changing room and frequently a good player in training, he also scored in our 4-1 friendly win this week. Some argue he's had too many chances but I think we might have missed a trick with this lad.

For arguements sake, I would have chosen Findley, not because he is better than Miller, but purely because I think he would be a better PARTNER to Blackstock than Miller.

Tudgay is not a terrible player. He's not someone you would rely on week in week out but he does pop up with important goals and can play a few different positions. Saying that, I wouldn't be that bothered to see him leave. Same goes with Derbyshire, who was a decent player at Blackburn. But I think it would be better to move him on, along with McGoldrick. Keep Miller, Blackstock and Findley and buy someone new who can cover for Blackstock.

Good question. It depends how we are set up; if we have an orthodox 4-4-2, I would say Miller. But if SOD wants the second striker to drop off and get 'between the lines' it would have to be Tudgay (who I think is a good player).

If Miller stays fit and fulfills his potential he could be awesome and we would have to go 4-4-2.

Therefore I am voting for Miller

if miller stays on his feet would be much better i don't think he'll stay match fit very injury prone IMO my choice would be findley with dexter
