With our first 2 friendly games out of the way i think we can safely say Brendan is going to be settled on playing a 4-3-3 formation so i just wanted to see what everyone thought of our best team with the players we currently have.
I have done my team without Joe Allen but will be interesting to hear whether people think he could get into the 11. Ive also included Andy Carroll but if he actually isnt in Brendans plans then i would expect Suarez or Borini to play central and then Bellamy or Downing to come in.

Oh and I must do because I disagree with you?

I cannot think what else you're basing this particular opinion on to be honest.
He's played 11 league games in his entire life. He did not exactly pull up trees in the Championship. His last two loans have pretty much failed. He was the main man in the U19's because he was not good enough for the u21's who even now he has only played for a couple of times. I can't even think when he has skipped past players because he has not actually played.

Borini at the same age has only played 36, are you writing him off too?
What is your dislike of young talent, he clearly has natural talent, his lack of oppourtunities before have been down to the type of player he is, he doesn't work in a 4-4-2 and if we were playing that I wouldn't have a hope for him here, hence why Roy tried to coach him in to a robotic wide man and set him back a bit.
Now he has a boss who will let him play his natural game, so he will play with confidence.

Well he did it beautifully last night to set up Adam.

As said. Basing it on 45 minutes of a friendly.

Nope.
Based on him being one of the best youth talents at the club over the years, based on him being very good at youth international level, which kept him out of getting more game time when he was here. Based on the fact Rafa thought very highley of him. Based on the fact he has natural raw talent. Based on the fact I can see he has a great 1st touch and close control. Based on the fact he can pick the right pass.
And yes based on two good 45 minutes in pre season, what do you want him to do play badly because he played well in pre season before when he was 19 and didn't follow it up.
If thats your basis Cole is a certain for the team as he has been pretty bad along with Carra, Spearing, Eccelston and Enrique.

Okay you can base your opinion on 2 friendlies and what Rafa (who never played him) thought and I'll base mine on his career.
I'll then put my neck on the line and say that a proven International who has been a member of team of the year, was chelsea player of the year, won 3 league, 3 FA Cups and never had any pace to lose anyway is more likely to do a job on the left.
