I said weeks ago that Town would spend more money than Leeds in the close season if Bates remained at the club. When Warnock was interviewed he was assured that he would have sufficient funds in the close season where are these funds now?
Neil has had to wheel and deal by selling off our best players and by offering existing players poor extensions to their existing contracts, for example McCormack was offered a further £500 a week on top of his existing one of £7k
This in effect made him want to leave for a better rate of pay .
Snodgrass was told we would get some Marquee signings instead we have do to with freebies and Pompey cast offs as they are cheap to buy
So Neil was given no funds to buy players ,this was very obvious when we losr out to Crystal Palace over the sale of Ward , we couldn,t raise the 400 k
So will the conman give Neil any money re sale of Snoddy and Mccormack Paynter Obrien Nunez this could amount to £4m I very much doubt it he may get 50% if he's lucky
If we really meant to get promotion we should have gone for Cox, Templeton ,Hamill, Andrewsand a centre back that would have sent good vibes out to the fans . No the conman wants the last laugh at us I really do not wish him well
Warnocks treasure chest?

Keith Andrews is the worst footballer i have ever watched.
LIW speaks of people robbing a living...well this bloke is the epitomy of Robbing a Living.
The euro's showed him exactly for what he is, slow, weak, terrible passer and wasteful when attacking....exactly the sort of player we do not want at Elland Road.
Cox, Templeton & Hammill on the other hand i would like to see in the white of LUFC

Hunwick,
If they intended to keep Snoddy how would they know they were getting £3m (1.5 upfront)?
The prospective owners did not want him to go so they did not have the money in their budget when they gave White the new contract and bought the players.

The prospective owners haven't bought the new players, Bates has. Bates is still in charge, the takeover hasn't happened yet and isn't close to happening so how and why would people who have no stake in the club buy players? It makes as much sense as Stoopo's constant bleating that he is in the know. Which is the sum of zip.

Also - If we had intended to keep him, Warnock wouldn't have said he signed Varney as his replacement

Young White,
Warnock did not buy him to replace Snoddy but as cover for him. It's strange how Varney said this:
Asked about the challenge of stepping into Snodgrass’ shoes, Varney said: “I don’t think we’re here to replace anyone. We’re all here do our own jobs. But I must admit that when I signed he was one of the players I was looking forward to playing with. It’s unfortunate, but he’s a young lad and he can’t miss his chance of playing in the Premier League. I’m sure the fans are disappointed, as the players are, but we’ll move on.”

I was so pleased when Ken Bates went to Leeds and not us, felt sorry for you guys on the other hand. £35 quid for the *pleasure* of sitting at Elland Road is a joke. Not that it's the fans fault but Leeds should be made to pay the same when they go away as well.
Varney was a good player for us but often went missing for periods in games, he'll probably get about 10 goals for you this season.

Stoopo
my reply re the Snodgrass sale. You assume we tried to keep him!!!
If Bates is still at the helm, which I believe he is, Bates knew we were going to sell and would get at least £1.5M which would easily pay for our new players and contract improvement for White

My point was that Neil has been handed a treasure chest containing sandand told to get promotion out of it by that cretin
