..Neil is putting together a strong squad for our assualy on the Premiership and I dont think we can question any of the new recruits so far. Norris Varney Pearce and Ashdown are all good experienced pros at this level and will automatically gel together being ex-Portsmouth players..Andy Gray on a one year deal is another nice move. I would love to see one more striker being brought in just in case McCormack does move on. Mickael-Smith could be an interesting player maybe he will be our new "Lee Chapman" with his golden locks !...its all looking good and now the icing on the cake would be the takeover being completed..rid the club of Bates and move onto another chapter with promotion well in our sights..MOT !

I hate to rain on your parade slightly but have you seen Varney's record?
Charlton - relegated
Sheff Wed (loan) - relegated
Blackpool (loan) - relegated
Portsmouth - relegated
Im sure theres a couple more in there - the blokes a modern day Jonah!

Losing Gradel, Snodgrass, Howson, Johnson over the last two seasons has hurt us badly.
Not one player we have signed are close to their standards.
Some folk are being ridiculous and saying that we will be struggling and in a relegation fight. I think that's bollox. However, I really don't see us challenging for promotion.
I think we can expect hard work, being tough to beat but lacking creativity we won't compete with the better teams in this league.
