Just had a look on his wiki page and it puts his position as an attacking midfielder and god knows we could do with one of those!

Have a feeling that J Cole will stay, BR knows him for CFC and knows how to play him.

People really are forgetting that Aquilani is a quality player who could add a lot to the team, a lot more so than Allen who is a young talent, but still isn't near the calibre of player Aquilani is.

To think that some people would be pleased with Aquilani going just because of his high wages is ridiculous, the wages are the owners problem, not ours. I personally would be happier if he stayed as he has that creativity not many of our other players have, and Maxi has also gone who was another technically sound player, so we need him!

I'd prefer Adam than Aquilani to be honest. Adam produces. He finds the killer pass and finds penetration. Eleven assists last season and a few goals is a great return for his first season in a struggling side.

i reckon rodgers wants to sell aquilani, cole and carroll and bring in allen and gaston ramirez or someone of that ability. the side would look like this:
