but think of it this way, we've lost out on a player, who we obviously wanted, for the money we obviously was willing to pay.

My own view is, we couldnt really off wanted the player, but why try to sign them in the first place.

LIW in a way I agree with you but also don't want the club to be held to ransom either. Players have far too much power the way it stands.

Unless while the agent went away, another player came onto the radar? Who we are now trying to sign!

If Bates continues with his attitude/ ego trip then it could become just about impossible.
