Hes had his injuries but IMO is the best finisher we have had at Elland Road in recent years, hes lethal. Tends not to be physical and challenge in the air but on the floor his touch is quality and vision is top notch.
Could play a huge role in our season if he comes back like he was before his injury.
I think he will be used as an impact player, like he was under grayson. He will get us goals.
I expect another striker to come in which could harm his chances depending if ross plays up front or behind the striker.
All in all we aren't too far from finished, Peltier and craine look like signing, with a striker ( beckford or maynard hopefully ), and a winger. Boyd has been linked, hes quality, but im holding out for templeton. Young promising scottish winger, ring any bells?
Solid team quality manager, just need to put the jewells in the crown with a couple of top notch players!

I think that its a massive ask for Somma to come back and score goals like he did. He seems to have been out for ages now. I worry that he may struggle.
You are right that we need some more quality.
I don't think we have enough creativity compared to the beginning of last season.

Gradel
all gone. I doubt we can afford to replace these three we the same quality.
However, If we do then we should could be challenging for top six.
If we don't then IMO we will be mid table.

I expect the current squad would do well because it would be very hard to beat, solid defence and midfield. Warnocks tems are mostly like that, and grind out 1-0 wins week in week out. Nothing special, but consistent

He won't get a pre-season and won't be back till around October/November at earliest with no set backs. Don't expect anything this season.

I just think that currently we really lack creativity.
Unless Rodgers turns out to be a star then looking at previous stats for goals and assists: Austin, Green, Norris, Varney are way down on what Snoddy, Howson, Gradel, Clayton used to produce.

Somma wont do anything this year, the earliest he is going to be back for is Christmas and if Warnock had any sense once he ius match fit get him on loan somewhere.
Cause If you think he is going to be back ready for Christmas then just magically drop into the team and score a bucket full of goals then your are dreaming.
He has played 46 games in three years, yet for some reason people seem to think he is gods gift

We are currently going to be hard to beat, but we need some creativity from our wingers, and we need a fast striker. I have a feeling Warnock will play something like this (with new signings)

Should be back for Oct. He IS the best finisher we have, h did score a header against Leicester, a good one. He dint put in much efort which you cant blame him for really. Shame he's out but I completely agree, we look very toothless. weve turned more England, hard to beat but were gona be soooo boring

Spot on yeovil. He will benifit coaching from warnock as well. Could be a very important player. Asking a lot tho
