This time last year based on the highly scientific 606 support per club, I was able to very closely predict who was going up, and not so closely predict who was going down
Going up in the auto, I had Sheff Wed and Huddersfield – with Dons, Sheff U, Carlisle and Stevenage in the playoffs
So pretty close apart from the fly in the ointment, champions Charlton.
Going down – I confessed was more difficult – and narrowed it down based on total lack of interest in 606 to Rochdale, Tranmere, Oldham and Hartlepool – apologies to all except Rochdale which I got right.
So this season based on the highly reliable league 1 boards of 606:
Its Doncaster as run away winners with MK Dons comfortably sharing an auto spot
Then the remaining playoff sports to Sheff U, a very strong Swindon (6 pages of comments), with Pompey and Coventry edging it over Stevenage.
Going down, Colchester with 2 full comments head up (or head down) the drop zone, closely followed by Hartlepool (again), Walsall and Crewe
I was pretty close last year on the promotion side – and feel that it’s a fair shout this time – going down I suspect it will be apologies all round again. All in all pretty close to what my head thinks
Who will go up and down - predictions plse

That beats my reasoning hands down IC.

Very true Furz - but no full marks yet to IC as I see now predictions or rational on relegation contenders

There is also a worry of a roundabout / cycle path / concrete cow war starting.

I didn't understand :/
In that case, Stevenage will be promoted, because their fans think they're Turkish!! And all the clubs that go to their ground will be sh!!t scared, with all the flares and Galatasaray like atmosphere and won't put in any effort so Stevenage will run away with the League. Easy.

I think on balance even with late running from McM class gold star has to go to IC for some original thinking and creative process - well done IC the class approves and can't wait until the new season starts

Its all a ploy IC. Am secretly making sure everyone posts more here, so that I can go back to my original prediction formula and this time next year say "I told you I was right" - trouble is next year if I am right and the number of posts really is an indicator of league position - then in the championship under those rules we would suffer
So would immediatley revert to your formulas as they stand more chance in the championship

Moocamp, you can use your formula, just add the variable "Quality Posts", then anyone who has more pists than MK Dons, you can reduce by saying they are not goood enough quality

Good one Bill - a totally subjective measure - will keep that one in mind if we go up - I did apply (to the lower clubs) the rule of deducting the Hudders posts on their page - as they post anywhere they go
