Goodbye Rob, thanks for being the kind of Captain and type of player we badly needed at the back at the time and thank you for your part in our recovery

He may not be exactly Thiago Silva or Gerard Pique in technical terms or class..but his heart was on his sleeve, a top professional, very committed in every sence, gave 200% EVERY time we pulled on the blue and white stripes & a very nice bloke too!!
All the best Rob

Agreed, just a shame really that, with all due to respect to the big man, he didnt have as much speed and talent as the others for Championship level but, like the great Lee Bullen did, he may come back as a coach or in some other capacity once he hangs his boots up and will always be held in high regard at S6

He was very committed, no doubting that.
But only played one season, so I'd say calling him Mr Wednesday is a stretch. Bullen will always be a name mentioned around the crowd at games, Jones, I doubt.

See your point Erny but he was our Captain and was a natural one at that, kept the players morale going and IMO that played a big part in our recovery and then promotion. Also what I really like about him is that he NEVER, to my knowledge anyway, complained if he was left out of the 1st team, a great Cpt and, although only here a year, a great servant to our MASSIVE club
