I don't mind McCartney at all, decent player.

Collins I have not seen a huge ammount of in the last few years, but he was a great deal better with us last time than Upson who replaced him.

Raptor, can you suggest a player who will strengthen our defence and do not leak goals?

I agree, nothing is impossible in football & i take your point on board that City could cover part of his wages.

In saying that, i get the impression City were desperate to get Ade off their training ground, whereas the relationship between Tevez, Mancini, the fans & the club in general appears to be quite a good one.

But as you say, i really cannot see this happening. And yes, i would be jealous if it did.

Well the Carroll deal I now think is as good as dead and a deal for Tevez is about a tenth as likely as that.

He left out for Europa league game...
