When i put the disc in it spins but doesn't come up that there is anything in the drive.The disc is clean and any other discs i try work any ideas on what the problem is

I think i redownloaded it enough times to make it come up on the 'start menu' to load the disc proper from there.
fluked it basically
i dont use steam cos sometimes i bring my laptop to my nans where theres no internet connection.

but you havent said anything about a download screen so if you cant get to there, i dont think i had that problem so thats no help
