Burton

I went to the game last night to see how the team was shaping up. Burton are a decent footballing side so should be a good test. We started well with some sharp movement and good link up play. Waghorn working his socks off and roughing up there defence. Beckford looked sharp and happy, even joking with the ref and burton players in a game both sides wanted to win.

Without going through every player I thought our defence looks solid even after Ledger left the game the midfield of Danns and Drinkwater bossed the midfield, although there were a few missed passes.

We did lack good width throughout the game until Dyer came on and I must say when Gally beat his man and crossed in a killer ball Dyer ghosted into the box and placed an excellent header! Yes that's right Dyer!

Nugent and Vardy look awesome and for me are the starting 2 strikers. Still to early to say how we will do but I was happy with the progress thus far!

Looking forward to the start of the season.
