I know i'll get slammed for this by many, but baffled by this decision.
Hill's virtues are a tight defence and a passing game. Yet here is a guy who is part of a defence which conceded 74 goals, and he can't pass a ball 5 yards.
Another slap in the face for our Bobby.

We wont get another full season out of Bobby injuries are starting to take their toll and I imagine he will give us around 20 - 25 appearances this season, so I think making him the captain would be a mistake.
McNulty on the other hand had the most appearances last season, and can play CB or LB. He also won Players player, so presumably he is well liked in the dressing room.
Personally I still think Foster is our best CB, but I can see the logic of McNulty taking the armband.
