....ther isn't a single player at the club right now who would cause me to lose sleep if he were off. That's the reality of where we are nowadays.

This is what being realistic is all about. We can't guarantee cl,we can't attract top talent,we can lose any of our players.......... This is our situation, we will only do with patient and players ready to work their tooth of to achieve the clubs ambition. Joy riders, mercenaries, hecklers ,hanger ons, glory hunters............will either put up, shut up or ship out.

wanted to give FSG a chance but the season started last night and at the moment the talk is about Aqua, Agger and Carroll leaving.

My thoughts exactly. We are now born again mid table yeam and thats where we will be staying for the forseeable future. I'm just going to enjoy watching Suarez in his last season with us before players like Ryan Bennett and Sinclair are brought in.

Well this is depressing reading!!!
I understand ur points about realism but come on!!!! How about a positive attitude!??
We have a promising, exciting young manager who cud turn this club back where we belong!!! We just need patience!
We have a decent squad. Regardless of last seasons poor individual performances, this is a decent bunch of players mostly. A lot of last season can be placed of the feet of kenny and his tactics. A change of manager and style will need patience to show dividends!

There will be signings before the window!! U will see!!

I dont think all of them would leave if we didn't make CL football, some may, who knows.

But I am pretty sure they would all go if we don't show any signs of improvement and investment. If we finish 8th again we will lose some decent players. Hopefully they are fully behind what BR is attmepting to do and will see that this will move the club forward, it just may take more than a season to achieve.

So I think ambition of the club will matter more to some of them.

Thats if the club actually show some ambition...
