Anyway at the end of the day Guedioura permenant move is great news. At least we have bodies in defence now even though I dont personally rate Collins or Halford but Harding is solid. If we sign Ayala I would be very happy, my judgement is reserved on Moussa though.

We do need a winger though.

Are you "exiled" cos you've run off with your sister's bloke?

Where have you seen Gillett?

Few apperances for Southampton and Donny (loan spell). But I confess I haven't watched him extensivley...but I still have an opinion. For example have you seen many minutes of Jimmy Kebe play for Reading - probably not but you will still hold the opinion he is a good player at this level.

A player on a free is never really bad business in my opinion but I have to question the Gillet signing due to one reason.... his position.

As far as I am aware he is a defensive midfield. Do we really need another central midfielder?

Not saying he is a bad player, but is he what we need? Unless players are due to be sold?

You answered yourself actually by describing as a "defensive midfielder"

He looked OK today, and considering he has just arrived he was looking to be something of an organiser on the pitch.

TEG if he can provide cover to allow the creative players to do their jobs then he could be a brilliant signing. I'd rather see Pep roaming forward rather than having to track back constantly.
