PS3 or XBox?

I have a PS3 but would be just as happy with an Xbox considering that all the games I've played on it have been multi-platform anyway.

Its not just a gaming machine but a multimedia machine, so you can use those to your advantage in keeping your Mrs quiet. Watch a Blu-Ray DVD with her and when she falls asleep on your shoulder you can just play Fifa or whatever.

Also you can do what I do and get your girlfriend to partake in some games with you such as Heavy Rain and La Noire. Quite fun with a female sidekick by yourside to give you a second opinion.

Oh and don't listen to those Xbox fanboys. The Ps3 pad is class!!!!!!!!!!!

Ive got the original 40gb big ps3 albeit ive put a 160gb hardrive in it (old laptop) and its only just recently started to go a bit faulty think graphics chips on its way out takes about 10/15 attempts to get it to stay on.

Choice is simple. If most ur mates have an xbox u get one and if theyre all on ps3 get that instead. Online gaming is much more fun with ur mates than random ppl

But if you aint got any friends, then go for the Ps3 for the reasons I mentioned above.

Xbox regardless of what GD says. Xbox dashboard now offers so much more than ps+. Plus it's a videogame system first.

From that list, I've only played the first Uncharted game which I enjoyed but gave up half way through (says more about me than the game!).

I'm not saying that PS3 doesn't have decent exclusives, it's just that I'm a very boring gamer who likes sports titles and the odd Final Fantasy, GTA, etc.

As said above, what your mates have got should be one of the main factors when considering a machine.
