Now I am not one that usually panics with pre season friendlies, but with our recent displays, I haven't seen anything to convince me we are any where close to compete for any competition this year. RDM doesn't seem to be getting a decent attacking or defensive minded team together.
Perhaps I am reading into it. Or perhaps I am expecting too much from a squad in transition. But one thing I am pretty sure of is that my patience will out last Roman's.

Last season's strong finish won't happen again this season. Drogba was the key figure and the common factor in that successful run, and it will be a few seasons before Chelsea find an effective alternative. So I suggest you don't set your expectations too high, you will be terribly disappointed.

i get the feeling that despite hazard showing a lot of promise down the middle, he's being pushed wide to accomodate lampards runs forward

Don't read in to pre-seasons When Ramos took over for us we had an amazing pre-season, then we got 2 pts from 8 games

Drogba being great last season is a myth , the truth is at chelsea all our strikers have been poor the last two seasons. I find it strange that anelka drogba torres can all be poor at the same time. the reality is malouda lampard essien have all declined , ballack left but we still try to play the same style as if we still had the team of 09.

Rdm will manage himself out of a job, why he seems to think that Ramires on the wing s a good idea, and leaves slow lampard, and mikel in midfield, needs to sort out the central mid role

ramires was on the wing because mata , sturrage , marin , oscar were unavailable.
