If we really want him, he's ours!

http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11661/7967605/Mancini-doubts-RVP-deal

Mancini doesn't think they will get van perise, and apparently he favours a move to us.

I believe if we bid 20millon we will get him, and whether or not you think we need him, he is a match winner and somebody we could need to help win the league.

With kagawa (who i think will be the signing of the season) van persie and maybe a left back or center midfielder. We really could have a quality strong squad.

Can't wait for the new season either way!

UNITED!

Its just a smokescreen to let the owners know that he is pi55ed off theres been no movement..

RVP will no doubt end up at city..adebayor dzeko possibly tevez will leave before transfer window closes

There's zero chance of us signing a CM. Absolutely zero as the newspapers aren't even linking us with anyone let alone Sir Alex saying that we need one.

is this post irony?

I just don't get the hype. I won't criticise him, but his passing is average, touch is average, technique is abysmal, shooting???

He got away with that in his first season because it was seen as a stepping stone. But now it's looking like that is where his ability is at.

Cleverley has looked very good for Team GB. Maybe SAF has decided to give him another shot?
------------------------------------

You say it like there was ever any doubt that Cleverley would be given chances this season. He was playing well last season - not his fault he got injured.

I think that the emergence of Petrucci might something to do with us not going for another CM.

Adebayor is a and isn't going to go anywhere until someone meets his wage demands.

According to Mancini, Dzeko will stay, but he also said Tevez isn't going to play for City again, so I never know who to believe.

An injury free season brought out the best in RVP, I'm hoping it can do it for Anderson too.

Tony Blair moment, that. Well done.

The hype surrounding Anderson is totally unjustified for me. I hope to god he proves me wrong and finally has that season we've been waiting for rather than 5 good games. Not going to put any money on it though. We've been hearing the same thing for the last 3 years and this will be his 6th season as a United player.

If he fails to deliver this season, he'll be out next summer.

Somebody called him a potential 'legend' on here yesterday and said ' he had it all '.

My head does wobble at times on here I must say.

Sahin doesn't to to leave Madrid, plain and simple, he has said this 2 or 3 times. He may go on loan to Arsenal but that will only hinder them in the future.

I think we, City and probably Juve are just going to wait for deadline day to try again for RVP, makes sense because they stand to lose a lot of money keeping an unhappy player. Nobody wins that way (until we get him for free next summer).

And who will pay any of their wages? Tevez looks set to stay and is the only world class player who is worth spending that sort of wage on. c

Anderson is a good player to have in the squad when he's fit, but that's it for me.

I've never understood the "potentially world class" tag he gets from some United fans.

Hype? I wasn't aware there was any. This is a make or break season for him at United. he has been unlucky so far with injuries. Most United fans get this and I agree that I wouldnt think many would predict him becoming a 'club legend' in the future (in a Best, Eric, Robson and Ronaldo way) I just hope he does well for himself and United and shows his potential (of been a good player), more consistently. Thats not hype. It's support!
