I am a huge RDM fan, I was thrilled that he was able to steady the ship and even get us to the promised land but from what I hear about the pre -season games (I've not watched any) it seems we are far from ready to challenge for the pl or defend our hard won cl trophy. I am not advocating any evil for the club or RDM but how far do you think we or rather Roman can go with RDM this new season, for me, he should never be more than six points behind the leaders or drop out of top 4 at any point in time, that should be ok for me and also after the first few games the team should show signs of improving and not deteriorating and a clear tactics or style should be visible.
Finally, I hope we won't need to re-sign our best ever player (Drogba) on loan by January, we have to sort out our attacking options now or that may very well be the case.
Rant over...
How far should we go with RDM?

I´m actually growing tired of these fans who keep harping on about pre-season.
Pre-season is just that - pre-season. Nothing more.
It´s not about getting results in pre-season, it´s about experimenting and bringing through new players.

Superb, I hear you, but rdm didn't experiment at all

Maybe not with formations but certainly with players. The likes of Lukaku and new boys Marin and Hazard got plenty of gametime.
