According to Macca LFC are open to offers on Agger. There's also a rumour that an £18m bid from City has been accepted. If there's any truth to these rumours it's clear the FSG fire sale continues apace.
I'm starting to feel really sorry for Rodgers - these no way he can realise the fans' expectations with such stingey owners.

Honest.
If the rumours come from a credible source then yes, I do believe they have validity.
You can carry on burying your head in the sand and ignore what's happening at our club. Please, knock yourself out

I'm not confident that he will sign a new deal. he said he would discuss a new deal in June, but as yet nothing has materialised. This in itself will fuel speculation and conjecture, but in this case I fear the worst.
How do we replace a quality, ball playing left footed centre back, who adds solidity and balance? It certainly won't come cheap.
Losing Dagger would be a disaster.

I'd rather take the cash for a forward and play Coates/Skrtel
Lescott is good but he's no Agger

Another point is that two bids were rejected. This must mean that after first bid liverpool have not said hes not for sale but asked for more money

FSG wouldn't pay the kind of wages Lescott's on.

Thank christ for that because if we did then we would be headed down the same path of mismanagement we have been on for the better part fot he last 20 odd years.
The club is and has been a financial mess for a couple of decades. Its going to take FSG quite some time to sort that out. Unless we are taken over by somone who want to turn us into another City, Chelsea or PSG, then its going to take time to correct our business model. Throwing more money at a problem isn't going to help.
Also, in looking at this lfc rumours website, this Macca fella seems just as bad as everyone else. Throw enough $h!t and some will stick.
If Agger truely wants to leave then so be it. Just like when Madrid and Barca come caling, we now have to throw Chelsea and City into that mix.

Come on, if I had a pound for every rumour about agger int he past week id have a tenner, enough for a madras, naan and a 4 pack on the way home from the pub.
