Haha another norwich defender! Not too sure about this one though. he can be great but he has lapses of concentration. certainly isn't the most reliable of defenders but he is good with the ball at his feet. I saw him play quite a lot when he played for cov. all the fans hated him but he was ok. he's done well for norwich though so he could be good cover for collins and ayala. i wouldn't pay any more than £500,000 for him.

Sounds like another good move to me. He hasn't been a regular for Norwich in the Prem has he?

Is he "good with the ball at his feet"? I always thought he was more the big-lump-face-behind-the-ball Luke Chambers type. Not complaining though, it seems as though Freeman will be on his way, not sure why, and Halford will be more right back than centre back. It's a shame Lascelles isn't going to play more of a part but I suppose Ayala hasn't got a great fitness record so we need more than him and Collins.
