Just so you are clear, i am not WUMming and i am not saying you are not linked to people, of course you are. But what i am saying is that there doesnt seem to be any movement on anyone trotting down the Kings Road.....

From what i have seen you have been linked to Modric (not going anywhere), Pastore (wants to stay in Italy), Neymar (prefers to go to Spain), Lukaku (not sure what is happening there, nothing has been said about him for weeks), apparently you were looking at Alexis Sanchez as well (wants to go to Barca).

Agreed, this is all paper talk, but when United and Liverpool have made 3/4 signings, Chelsea and City, the so called rich men of the EPL, have been strangely quiet, wouldnt you say?!

We have been quiet. New manager and all that I think .Think he's stil assessing the squad. Plus you do your business early. We dont neccessarily do that.

That is very true but its important to bear in mind that unlike United we are going after the hottest properties on the market.
We're in direct competition with Madrid, Barca and City and thats not easy.

Mr Chelsea - fair comment, AVB might well be giving his squad a chance to impress him, before jumping into the market and buying in players. It is not in dire need of an overhaul (you will miss Essien though, and Frank and Terry are not the players they were).

I personally like the idea of getting them in early and bedding them in before the season starts. Doesnt buying late mean you risk losing out on some players as they have already moved??

Onlyoneleft - erm not sure about that (Modric is not the hottest property on the market IMO), United are being linked to Sneijder who is about as hot a property as you can get....we were also linked with Sanchez too. Again all paper talk though.....
