Is it me or is everyone suddenly over rating him massively? I mean he wasn't even Dortmund's prized possession, if Kagawa is even half as good as everyone thinks then Gotze must be the footballing equivalent to the second coming of Jesus Christ.
He's a good player, I've watched him play a few times, very typically Asian player, hard working, nippy and a good touch but he is not going to solve the problems in United's midfield. He will scored 10, maybe 15 goals but I can't see him getting many assists in the system United play.

Yes the Cazorla vs Mata/Silva/Kagawa/Hazard articles are incredibly boring.

Not sure how the current Bundesliga poty is overrated.

Especially when you consider how strong the league is and some of the players that play there.
The thing is, I haven't seen many United fans overhyping Kagawa anyway. There are a few, but you always get that - most are realistic about things.

Kagawa was Bundesliga player of the season last year. Winning it above Robben, Ribery, Schweinsteiger, Gomez etc.
At 23 that is a great achievement.
He is also unlike any other player we currently have at United so in that respect, he will be a great addition to the team. I don't know how well he will suit our style but all I do know is that individually, he is a fantastic player.
Also, comparing him to Hazard is ridiculous as they play in different position and Kagawa cost half as much.

Dubbed
You are the oaf for bringing up Britton's passing. He could have just been passing back to the centre back and full backs for all we know from those stats.
Goals and assists are the real difference makers. They can't be shirked at.

I don't think many United fans have been overrating Kagawa. A lot of people haven't really seen a lot of him, but from what they have are rightfully excited at the signing of a player whom clearly has a lot of talent and bring something to the team we have been missing.
Cazorla is the same with Arsenal. Except a lot of Arsenal fans are already saying he'll help them challenge for the title and is the second best player after Silva.
Neither player has played a competitive game for their new clubs, so who is better is irrelevant, and there's no guarantee either player will be as good as what people think.
Arsenal fans seem to have an obsession with this "our player(s) is better than your player(s) rubbish".

Lampard scored more goals than Zidane. How about watching players with your eyes instead of comparing stats.

I notice that a lot of Arsenal fans do. But I apologise if you don't fall into this generalisation.

Lampard and Gerrard are both better than Zidane. Fact! They score... Have you seen Gerrard's long shots?!
