I am not that disappointed about missing out on Lucas in particular. But I am disappointed that this is another big money player whom we went in for but were unable to complete the signing of. Players like this seem to be beyond us, which would be okay if we didn't waste half a summer trying to haggle the price down before failing to land the target. Time which could be better spent looking elsewhere.

Now go get Muniain, better imo.

Munian is such a great little player.
But I cant see him leave Bilbao for along time yet,which I think in some ways is a good thing.
Bilbao are a greatly run club with tradition and class.

Could go either way.

Good as Lucas has looked so far, his game is heavily reliant on speed. It has the potential to be devastatingly effective, in which case he will be one of the top players in the world.

On the other hand, there is the possibilty he will be sussed out by European defenders. Especially those in the CL, who have a bit more about them than those in Brazil.
