can anyone recommend any relatively cheap PC games
it'll be the first time i've ever really done any serious gaming on the PC, grew up with Xbox and Playstation, hence my ignorance
dug a rather battered copy of Battle for Middle Earth out of the cupboard this morning, any other recommended titles?
don;t really care which genre or game type. not really a fan of first person shooters though

Stop getting laptops if youre looking to play games. Its a waste of money as it will be outdated quickly. Get a desktop so you can upgrade as needed.

RtM it's only 1 game I'm interested in. Plus I'm making sure that the specs make it more than powerful enough to run this game at a good speed

pretty much any laptop will match the minimum but I'm pretty sure the one I'm getting will give 5* speed

Rome: Total War. An excellent game. A bit old now, so should be less expensive than your average game.

Shogun is my favourite total war game. Them Geishas are lethal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Only played medieval 2 but loved it
total war singe player is much better than age of the empires but I still prefer multiplayer on age of the empires
