Liverpool FC Wage Cutting

Goal Keepers:

Reina is our number one, I'm content with that.

How about selling Doni and Jones and replacing with Jack Butland ?
He's young, quality and home grown, then send either him or Gulacsi on loan.

Defenders:

Johnson, Skrtel, Agger, Enrique, I'm content with that back four. Kelly and Coates are good for back up, but for me we need an extra defender. Possibly someone who could cover Left back as well as Center back.

Midfield:

Gerrard, Lucas, Allen*, I'm content with that, it's a good mix. Shelvey and Henderson are good young back up players. However, Spearing and Adam imo are not our standard, imo they should be sold and another midfielder brought in, maybe a loan signing such as Sahin ?

Forwards:

Suarez, Borini, Downing, It's ok, but nothing more. I would hope we have at least two players to come into this area to challenge for places. Bellamy looks certain to leave and it's only my opinion but we should take what we can for Carroll and Cole, it's not an ideal system for Andy and i don't want to see him rot on the bench. Maybe get Dempsey and another, with Sterling making up the sixth option.

There are some quality youngsters in the ranks, i have been impressed with Sama, Robinson, Suso, Sterling, Whilst Pacheco looks like he could potentially make up a squad place.

To sum up, i think we should sell: Doni, Jones, Spearing, Adam, Cole, Carroll and reluctantly sell Bellamy.

End squad before signings:

Reina, Gulacsi, (Butland) ?
Johnson, Kelly, Skrtel, Coates, Carragher, Agger, Enrique, *signing*.
Gerrard, Lucas, Allen*, Shelvey, Henderson, *signing*.
Suarez, Borini, Downing, *signing*, *signing*, Sterling.

Youngsters: Sama, Robinson, Suso to get games when needed.

Just my thoughts on a humid afternoon...

Adam was our best provider from midfield, and I don't like the abuse he gets from some of our fans. He produced the second most amount of goals in the League last season, and was worth the £7m paid. He is still mid 20s, and is a good backup player.

He might not look a footballer or can't tackle, but he produces in the final third. Typical Moneyball player. Keep him!

Didi..... Scouse king is a bit repetitive haha!!

PPL - I actually rate Adam and always have

I think Adam and Gerrard should be rotated in the front 3 of midfield role with 2 behind them.....adam was a success at blackpool because he had 2 players behind him.

No need to let Brad go, I thin his wages are not big, is happy to be No 3 and is home grown, good keeper if we need a No 3 to step up like last year.

1 man - Adam is a good person to bring off the bench - for his finishing quality alone

Adam played in a two man midfield with Vaughan at Blackpool.

Personally I don't want to lose any players. Just want to add some.

DDFP - He had a difficult 2nd half on the season and thats what people remember!!

But I think he will have a better season this year!

Holloway is notorious for his 4-3-3, Adam was always the most forward of the three

I personally think we should be sending more youth on loan to Blackpool, Shelvey went there and scored six goals on the right side of a front three, (Thats right side of the front three, not in the midfield) and its done wonders for his confidence!

I really rate Holloway and Blackpool, class act all round, play the right way, good man manager, great place for us to farm youth to.
