I'm starting to think we'll sign a CB for cover freeing up Kelly to play RB with Johnson LB..
Just got the feeling King Kenny likes both Kelly and Johnson on the park at the same time.
I think Robbo's the best prospect in our academy (including Raheem Stirling) so between him and Aurelio (he;s gotta be fit for the odd game) and maybe Wilson we should have cover.
Could be waaaaay wrong though!

Wayne Bridge is available for a bargain. And he is English.

Cissokho or Bastos would be welcome signings for me - hate to say it though but i'd prefer Baines! Prem experience is a must for me & LB's from the continent can be too offensive at times...Baines is disciplined and coming into his prime...also English which apparently is the key at the moment!

Does noboby remember the season before riise came, when Carragher filled in at left back and we won a cup treble that year. I think we got alot of players already who can play there.

On the subject of Baines I want to compliment both Liverpool and Everton for conducting an albeit brief negotiation in private. It looks like Baines will go elsewhere (if anywhere) but it makes a refreshing change not hearing every detail in the media.
In the absence of Baines I'd go for Cissokho.

Already ruffling the feathers of the CL boys before the season has started.
Otherwise they wouldn't be on these boards.

Anyone but not Baines. Overrated IMO.

Why not Baines? Best LB in the PL last year and should have got LB of the year over Cole - and I'm a Chelsea fan. Only defender who got more assists than him was Dani Alves
