Arsenal Checklist

This is what would see me 100% happy although probably nowhere near 100% going to happen in any shape or form.

- Contracts for Song, Walcott and RVP.

- Sahn in on loan and sign someone like Van Der Wiel. With recent recurring injuries to Sagna , I don't have all my confidence in Jenkinson (although I believe he has fantastic potential).

- Get rid of deadwood! Park, Arshavin, Squillaci, Chamakh, Bendtner all need to go.

I really think we can have a good season lads, we did the unthinkable of finishing 3rd last season, people would have shot us if we would have said that at the start of September last year. Maybe not Premier League winners this year but all my eyes are on ending the trophy draught. Just renewed my membership and cannot wait for that opening game vs Sunderland.

What activity would you like to see before the end of the summer?

A bit more back up in defence for me. Solid dependable types rather than flashy injury prone players. Hope Steve Bould will be able to bend Wenger's ear in that direction.

That's what I'm hoping for aswell mate. That's why I believe we need a class RB.

More likely to happen;

RvP leaves, Song leaves and Walcott runs down his contract.

Sahin goes to United to link up with RvP. van der Wiel comes, but you have to quickly wake up to the fact that he his shít.

Chamakh has to stay. With RvP going we would be very short of strikers without Chamakh.
Arshavin and Bendtner only going on loan. Park going back to France for a quid. Squillaci staying.

Walcott signs a new contract, Song decides to go to Barca and we sign a world class holding midfielder/DM more disciplined who actually provides the cover for the defence, RVP goes to Manyoo and we get a worthy replacement. We win the league and Fergie retires at the end of the season due to the stress we cause him.

I expect RVP is leaving, so he is out of the equation.
The most important thing I wanna see is, we win games convincingly in the beginning of the season. If we win, I am pretty sure Walcott and Song will lean on staying.

For the remaining players like Park, Squillaci, Bentdner, Chamakh, and Arshavin, if they stay they stay, and they are what we have right now. At least the team does not really need to "rely" on them. Also You never know if some of them will contribute in one or two important games if someone get injured. The players mentioned above as the 2nd -3rd tier players on the team is not that bad. It is only bad when we have to heavily rely on them for a long period of time.

I fully agree on Gunner JJ checklist. I would love to see an excellent holding midfielder in addition to Song. It would make us tactically more flexible. Defence is tricky, after all these years I tend to think no matter who plays, our defence is crap. I rely on Steve Bould in that....
