Arsenal should not be so money hungry

All this talk of RVP & Song leaving really is not heart warming. It only shows that not only is the board so money-hungry but also some fans have been bitten by that bug too.

Cant believe that some fans are already contemplating us selling Song (our only senior DM & one of our most reliable players last season) to Barca. Even read somewhere that we are holding out for 20m pounds. Imo we should not even be negotiating with Barca for any amount.If we do sell him, we have no player who can play that role. We are also not linked to any DM with the kind of EPL experience that Song possesses. Song still has about 3yrs or so left on his contract, so unlike RVP we are not under any pressure to sell him.

As for RVP,even though i fully support the fact that hes an ungrateful who deserves to be sold, I dont think it will be wise on any level to sell RVP to an EPL rival who we have almost caught up with. Pls note that we would be the ones selling RVP to Utd & not him going there. I remember when Heinze left Utd & wanted to go to Liverpool, Fergie (clearly didnt want the player anymore) but refused to sell him to close EPL rivals & rather sold him to Madrid for far less than what Liverpool offered. Why cant we fecking do the same??? Why does our board always like to ridicule us the fans by selling our best players to EPL rivals? We would be sending a message to the rest of the league by selling RVP to a foreign club even if we make less than what EPL clubs would pay.

I repeat what i said yesterday, "WE DO NOT NEED THE EXTRA MILLION POUNDS WE WOULD GET FROM AN ENGLISH CLUB"....we have built a decent team now, it will be extremely stupid if we then help our rivals strengthen themselves at our own detriment. Then all our spending would be for nothing.
