Whose it gonna be?
Camp - 1 star
Blackstock - 2 stars
Reid - 3 stars
Cohen - 4 stars
Collins - 5 stars
I reckon Collins might be the best call, he's most likely to be ever present in the team whereas some of the other lads might not with histories of niggly injuries, never been a fan of keepers as captains although Camp is Vice Captain so cant be discounted as an option.
Next Forest skipper?

I'd give it to Collins, seems like a proper leader, but I wouldn't mind any of the others except Dexter - I don't want him to be doing anything other than thinking about goals.

I don't think Cohen's going to be playing a lot. I don't see that he's a SoD type player. He's a jack of all trades and does most things to a decent level but nothing fanstastically. He's not as good as Moussi (or maybe Gillett I don't know yet) in the DM role, hasn't got the vision of Reid, McG or Majewski, isn't a winger or a creative force.
I could be wrong, maybe with luxury players like Reid, McG and Majewski who don't graft so much Cohen's engine will see him as an important player. He disappears from games a bit too much for me.

i disagree with you lloyd. i think cohen is an underrated player. he brings so much energy to our team. thats exactly what we missed in midfield at the start of last season. guedioura came in and provided that energy that we were lacking. he may not do the flashy stuff like mcgugan but i'd start cohen every game and allow the flashy players to come on from the bench and do their stuff late on

Reid
Seems the vocal type. Been there, done it etc

Philo, Cohen has a great engine but honestly you can't compare him to Guedioura. Guedioura has controlled more games in his 20 games as a Forest player than Cohen has in his 5 seasons.
Don't get me wrong, there's a place for him but I find him a little frustrating and he does vanish from games. You can say he's not doing the flashy stuff but I think it's more the game is passing him by.

Cohen was class the season before last - he drives the rest of the team on, gets involved, passes well and has good movement. We missed him massively after his injury last year. Now that we've got Pep, i do wonder, because they bring similar things to the team, but I hope Cohen still gets games.

I'm with Lloyd on this one ... I like Cohen, he works his socks off, but he's not consistent enough. He's a good squad player to have as he's so versatile, but I wouldn't want him in our starting line up considering who else we have.

I know he hates playing there but think he's far better suited to being a fullback. He's got energy, pace, strength and with the time they get there would be a quality player with the ball. If he could improve in the air and positionally then we'd be laughing.

I think Reid would thrive with the armband, not sure if he can play every game, but my choice would be either Reid or Collins, with the other being vice.
Thrive with the armband <really> didn't the greedy barsteward eat the jersey before he got to it
Only Sod all saved his arm

camp showed he isn't captain material with his strops last season.
and cohen is an awful full back for those suggesting otherwise, anyone with a bit of pace who's prepared to run at him has him on toast.
he HAS to play in midfield, simple as that. his work rate is needed there.
