How the hell is this guy in the England squad?! Now I know that it was always supposed to be a youthful, experimental group, but surely England must have some better prospects around than Livermore. Even alot of Spurs fans don't seem to rate him! Whenever I've seen him play, which admittedly isn't that often because he barely ever gets a game for his club, he's always seemed like no more than a lower average Premier League midifelder to me.

Spearing had a lot of fantastic games for Liverpool as well. You might want to get a clue, watch some actual football and get off your blinkers before calling anyone's comment dumb. A much dumber comment was claiming Livermore's better than Henderson.

Livermore has potential. He's far better than huddlestone was at the same age and miles better than henderson who is a shocking player.

Hudd was in Derby's first team at a very young age and then had a very successful loan spell at Wolves. On the contrary, Livermore was at best average at the Championship loans he has had.
Livermore has done a job for us at times, no more. I don't understand why some Spurs fans rate him so highly - a decent, honest pro who will find his level

What I have taken from scrolling through the comments from this thread is that Spurs fans have to hide their biased opinion for once and acknowledge a good young talent. Oh, and Sandy has to improve his WUMing and learn more about football.
