David Connolly Signs One-Year Extension

No - that's why this article is about David Connolly, because the title is about David Connolly.
Also on a general note, I find it irritating how we are a "small" or "rubbish" club apart from when the top clubs want our best academy players!!

Very happy that he signed, players with his finishing, link up play and big match mentality don't come very cheaply, if he hadn't scored at Brighton, who knows how we would have finished the season?.
Hands off young Chambo Stretty!...unless you come in with a 15,000,000 plus offer. Your team has just won the youth cup, surely you have your own young stars coming through?

Yeah our best youth players probably going to jail. Ooops.
In terms of chamberlain i think he is very good but I dont think we need him. Only asked because i havent heard much about him recently.

That is probably because he was out injured for the end of the season and only got back for the final game.

DC has definitely earn't another years contract. A great "impact player" (as NA puts it) and im sure his experience helps massively off the pitch in the changing room and in training also.

Great impact player and has earned it.
To come back from long-term injury and play like he has done is superb

Definitely earnt another year, and when fit probably is one of our most technically gifted players. Done a great job for us towards end of season and I think will score a few next year as well.

Brian Connelly seriously wot to cheer the fans up at half time?

Very impressed with Connolly, despite his age he is always as sharp as a 20 year old when he comes on and knows his place in the squad. Professional bloke.

I loved his reaction after he scored against Walsall - was he asking us to make sure the cheering reached management ears and earned him another contract?! I'm delighted he is staying. A real class act and I'm sure a good influence on younger players.
