I've always said a middle player is the best, because they can look at all areas of play and don't have as far to run when they have to rip any lazy sods heads off!.

I've gone for Pearce out of the list, but I'm not sure who the best is, after they've played together a few times then we should see who's the bossy one and who takes notice of who!..

Maybe NW's worried that the player he gives it to will be sold from under him - not like it hasn't happened before...
