KENNY 8 - Made a few really good saves and good to hear a keeper shouting at players around him nearly made a howler but got away with it.

BYRAM 8 - Thought he looked a real prospect

PELTIER 8 - Didn't put a foot wrong at CB would have been nice to see him in his rb role.

PEARCE 8 - Had a really good game but slipped and nearly let them in at one point.

WHITE 7 - Thought he looked a bit disinterested imo and didn't really get forward to help the attack either

AUSTIN 8 - Gave a few glimpses of what he is about some good touches solid passing well timed tackles and his shot that led to first goal.

NORRIS 8 - Some good tackles gets around the pitch alot and bagged his first goal.

GREEN 6 - Thought he looked a bit like a fish out of water on the right wing made some good tackles would be good in CM.

VARNEY 9 - Had a great game got his goal won just about every header he contended linked up well with McCormack and covers alot of ground.

McCORMACK 9 - Took Snodgrass role yesterday as the playmaker made some good passes set Varney up and scored his pen him and Varney seem to be on same wave length.

BECCHIO 7 - Got his goal but still lacks a bit of match sharpness imo but I am sure he will get better glad he got his goal.

SUBS

DIOUF 7 - Made some good touches and was suprised how much he was getting around the pitch would like to see him on right wing against Wolves so we have another attacking option on the pitch.

POLEON 7 - Made some good running didn't have much time to make impact nice to see him play for first team.

BROWN 6 - Wasn't on the pitch long enough to make an impression

erm....nice to see the player ratings but what's the relevance to the takeover?

I wasn't there but surely your ratings are all a bit on the generous side, particularly for White given your comments about his performance.

News flash - we won 4-0 against a good promoted side

Ratings are fair IMO-

Thought Varney and McCormack were best players on the pitch- Austin was very good- He can really pick a pass is very direct and tackles well.

I'm really hoping Bates gets his pound of flesh and just leaves, Harvey can stay for me he'll be the link between the team and the owners, he understands football and maybe we can avoid the Blackburn fiasco that happened yesterday
