Nixon has reported that Carlos Sanchez has met with Coyle and Gartside and said that he wants to sign for us. It appears that this saga is now heading in the right direction.
Sanchez's agent is being a little greedy at the moment though and the finances don't quite match up. I think that can be fixed given Sanchezs determination to sign for us. Let's face it, his agent doesn't make anything if he doesn't sign.
This guy could give us the push to promotion, judging by reports. He is a beast of a man in central midfield offering a shield to the back four, allowing our ball players to be more creative and possibly allowing the likes of Maveis to shine this season.
BWFC fans should be trying to convince him to sign by tweeting with the hashtag #comeoncarlos

We could do with him signing before the deadline for him to play on Saturday. I wouldn't see him starting but he should make the bench depending on his fitness levels.
It would be a boost to have him available.

He could of course make it even easier by just sacking his agent, signing for us and keeping all the money for himself.
Then again will Gartside just trick him into signing for wages of 2 pork pies and a bottle of fanta a week if he did?

I never believe anything until I see a player with a Bolton shirt on.
On another matter if Rodwell is worth 15 mill then Mavies is 20 mill ...... Ngog should not be sold for less than we paid. Then again this is the management of BWFC we are talking about.

Mavies is worth about 5 mill, Rodwell about 6.
Zkat - How do you rate Mavies as better than Rodwell. What have you seen?

City is believed to have just paid 15 mill for Rodwell who will never kick a ball in the first team. Mavies has a bit more skill IMO .....keeping in mind both are not great to beginning with.
ps: Does anybody know if there will be any links to our games this season? Most sites only cover the Prem.

I haven't looked but I suspect I will be able to receive a fair amount of games but it may depend on how successful we are.

You'll only get links when it is being broadcast by BBC, Sky or ESPN which will be domestically, so kind of defeats the object really, and schedule is pretty miniscule.
There are no contracts in place to sell the C'ship abroad, which is where all the internet streams come from, unfortunately.
