Anyone know the latest on Nuri?
I haven't seen a great deal of him before, but from what i've heard he is sh !t hot.
Where would he fit in? Would he be a good replacement for Song if he goes?Do we even need him?
I personally think that it would do Jack Wilshere in particular the world of good, as it would take the pressure off of him and we wouldnt have to rush him back, even if that meant leaving him until January.
Nuri Sahin Latest?

We need a defender and striker (if Rvp goes)

Regardless of who it is, I think someone would have to leave in order for us to get Sahin, simply because we have so many players vying for those 3 midfield spots: Jack, Rosicky, Arteta, Song, Frimpong, Diaby, Coquelin, Cazorla, Ramsey and even Arshavin and the Ox have played there in pre-season. That without thinking about Lansbury or Yennaris for example (although Lansbury will probably be off and Yennaris perhaps on loan).
Now obviously Wilshere and Rosicky are injured currently and we will undoubtedly pick up more injuries, but that still leaves a lot of players. I imagine Frimpong may also go on loan again, but still not much room for Sahin or, say, M'vila.

I believe the Sahin link was to spur the transfer of Cazorla. We needed a creative player to replace Ramsey. That has been done.
Sahin did play slightly deeper in Germany but was essentially the creative link. I will be very surprised if we went after him NOW that we have Cazorla.

Frimpong?
That guy's not a serious footballer.
Coquelin will be swiped aside. Same with Ramsey.
Sahin is possible, albeit unlikely.

I think we'll sign Nuri on loan tbh.
He's definitely coming to England according to pretty much every paper in Spain. Man Utd aren't interested in him it seems, so it's between us, Liverpool and Spurs. And let's be honest, he's going to want to play CL football, so it's very possible.

Didn't he play for Madrid against Celtic the other day?

Our midfield is too congested though. It's a rumour I never understood.

Wenger is a bargin man, Sahin on loan for the whole season would be a great move considering Wilshere and Rosicky. Any of our quality stars could easily get injured going by our record.
