Mikel or Lampard?

Lampard has been the problem for quite some time now which was papered over by his goals. But the bigger problem is that he is a legend and the Chelsea fans love him and is pretty much undroppable. See what happened to the last manager who dropped him.

mikel shouldn't play in big games. lampard can do a alonso for us. his deep passes and tackling a awareness is way way better than mikel. evrry game I watch mikel play I am glued to the tv trying to memorize a single forward pass from him.

The question is who plays with Lampard in the central 2 positions.

Mikel can play some games for sure but he shouldn´t be a regular starter.

Lampard was excellent in the role under RDM last season. If he can play like that then he's fine

Mikel was good too but not quite as consistent

Ramires & Lampard could be fine for games we expect to dominate

However I hope Lampard isn't reverting to AVB form. For someone who's meant to play deep he's been very advanced lately. Maybe he wants the goal record

I would like to see more of this combo. If Ramires can´t effectively play in that position at the moment then he needs to learn asap. Simples.

Just out of interest Superb, why don't you type an apostrophe like everyone else does? Been wondering for a while is it a broken key or something?

There is actually no need to play Mikel in the games where we play weaker sides and the impetus of attack is from our end.
